Pyongyang, April 27 (KCNA) -- The Mirae Shop for scientists and technicians was opened in Pyongyang on the occasion of the centenary of the birth of President Kim Il Sung.
The shop named "Mirae Shop" by the dear respected Kim Jong Un reflects his noble intention that the prosperity of the country can be guaranteed only by the development of science and technology.
Available at the shop are a variety of popular goods including daily necessities, electrical appliances and foodstuffs.
It has facilities for instantly mending the new garment bought there and repairing watches. Also available in the shop are a lift for trolleys, soft-drink stands and other welfare service facilities.
This shop built on the bank of the picturesque Pothong River boasts of its modern architectural beauty. It is a product of the loving care again shown by the Workers' Party of Korea and the socialist system for the scientists and technicians, regarding them as precious talents.
The shop welcomed teachers and researchers of Kim Il Sung University, Kim Chaek University of Technology and scientists of the State Academy of Sciences who visited there before any others.
