Donald Trump, Republican presidential hopeful, recently grumbled that the US has not been paid back for protecting south Korea and Japan.
This is a downright denial of reality and a whopping lie.
The US has exacted an incredible sum of money from south Korea and Japan as the funds for the upkeep of its military bases there.
According to information available, south Korea and Japan have offered US$900 million and US$2 billion respectively for US military upkeep every year, or more than half the sums paid by the American forces.
The Americans are not only raking in billions of dollars by stationing their troops in south Korea and Japan.
Their troops in south Korea and Japan are the field shock brigade to realize the pivot-to-Asia strategy and a means of aggression. By dint of them, the US is trying to rule over the Korean peninsula and, furthermore, contain China and Russia, its potential rivals in the region.
Given that the 21st century is called a century of the Asia-Pacific, if the US held supremacy over the region, it would be able to gain enormous political and economic benefits.
To this end, the US has invented “threat” from the DPRK, kept building up its forces in south Korea and Japan and staged extremely dangerous nuclear war exercises like Key Resolve and Foal Eagle 16 without let-up.
After all, the US forces stationed there are aggressor forces wrecking peace and security in the Korean peninsula and beyond.
As he falsifies the undeniable fact, Trump cannot be called otherwise than a psycho.
